Employer-Sponsored Supplemental Short-Term Disability

Disability insurance helps your employees recover from the financial burden of being temporarily unable to work. Short-term disability plans pay a monthly benefit up to 70 percent of gross monthly earnings if they experience a non-occupational injury, accident or are on maternity leave. Non-taxable payments are made directly to employees.
